Sharif Al Olama, Deputy Minister of Energy and Petroleum Affairs at MoEI, highlighted the importance of this agreement in achieving sustainable transportation and reducing the carbon footprint, stressing the ministry’s commitment to promoting environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
He added that the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is committed to advancing the transition to green transportation and achieving climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector.
Al-Alema explained that the electric bike pilot project will not only help reduce carbon emissions, but also promote a culture of green transportation among community members and encourage innovation in the transportation sector.
The CEO of Pact Carbon also noted the importance of this agreement in developing effective solutions for the transition to green transportation, stating that the company will make every effort to make the pilot project a success.
