Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has announced that it participated in the Arab-DAC conference in Kuwait
According to Amac News: The two-day Arab-DAC meeting in Kuwait was dedicated to strengthening finance and cooperation to address the evolving global challenges.
The aim of this year's meeting was to improve the quantity and quality of development financing and cooperation among different needs, focusing on two issues: financing for sustainable development and cooperation for better results and partnerships.
Mohammad Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of ADFD, emphasized the importance of global cooperation in addressing the challenges, especially through hybrid financing mechanisms to fill the financing gap for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He also noted the collective need to fight climate change and focused on identifying key areas on the climate agenda to facilitate participation and resource mobilization.
Since 2009, the Arab-DAC dialogue has served as a fundamental forum for knowledge exchange and cooperation in sustainable development, facilitating progress towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As an active participant, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) is committed to creating positive change and fostering inclusive development globally.
