According to Amac News: The Chinese media "Global Times" quoted the spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan and reported that the total value of this export was 77.5 million dollars.
According to this media, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan said that during this period, Afghanistan exported 18 tons of saffron worth 20.5 million dollars and 617 tons of ferula worth 57 million dollars.
According to this report, these exports were mainly made to China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Spain, Germany, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
It should be mentioned that Afghan saffron is considered one of the best saffron in the world and has been recognized as the best quality saffron in the world many times in international competitions.
On the other hand, ferula is a native plant of Central Asia and Eastern Iran, which is now cultivated in Afghanistan and has medicinal properties.
