The local authorities of Herat province announced the signing of a survey and design contract for the Turghandi-Rabat Peryan railway line with a private company.
According to Amac News: The survey and design of Turghundi-Rabat Parian railway line was signed with the Afghan-German Bakhtar private company and the governor of Herat.
In this program, the governor of Herat Noor Ahmed Islamjar emphasized the economic importance of this province at the level of the country and the neighboring countries and the region and said that the Turghundi-Rabat Parian railway line plays an important role in connecting Afghanistan with Iran, Iraq, Turkey and European countries.
Sultan Ahmad Sarwari, the head of Afghan-German Bakhtar Company, said that the survey and design work of this project will be started by Russian engineers this week.
