The UAE and Japan discussed the latest developments in the strategic partnership

According to Amac News: In this meeting, Al Jaber and Kishida discussed the latest developments in strategic partnership and signed several cooperation agreements.
The two sides discussed the latest developments of the comprehensive strategic partnership plan and the implementation of joint projects and programs in this framework.
During this visit, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ken Saito, Minister of Digital Transformation Taro Kono, and Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi.
Dr. El Jaber also met with senior executives of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Ineos, Mitsui & Co., Inpex, Jira, Itochu, Hitachi and SoftBank Group).
In the meeting with the Japanese side, Dr. Al-Jaber emphasized the desire of the UAE leadership to expand and strengthen communication bridges and cooperation to serve sustainable economic and social development efforts.
He also emphasized that the UAE has accepted the development and implementation of clean energy projects at the local, regional and global levels from the early stages and called for attracting more investments in the energy sector to meet the growing global demand for it.
This trip witnessed the signing and announcement of new strategic and vital cooperation between the two countries. An agreement was signed between ADNOC and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation for green financing worth $3 billion.
The agreement supports ADNOC's pioneering efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adopting low-carbon solutions in its operations.
Also, a cooperation agreement regarding strategic reserves was signed between ADNOC and the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy in order to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy and guarantee it.
