The Economic Assistant of the Prime Minister's Office of Afghanistan has announced the initiation of exploration and extraction operations for 21 major mines across the country.

Officials in the Ministry of Rural Development and Rehabilitation of Afghanistan say that the World Bank has left nearly 20,000 projects half-finished in Afghanistan, and some of these projects will be resumed in the near future.

The economic deputy of the Afghan Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that a number of Iranian investors have met and discussed with Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the economic deputy of this office.
