The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan inaugurated the construction of an international terminal worth 20.5 million dollars in Herat province.

Iranian media have reported that Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the governor of Herat, met with the officials of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the head of the Herat-Khaf Railway Consortium and discussed the completion of this project.
