According to the instructions of the President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Uganda signed an agreement to build an eye hospital in the city of Entebbe.

The President of the Republic of Uganda, Yuriy Museveni, emphasized the strengthening of economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Uganda, and expressed his desire to further strengthen these relations by expanding cooperation in various fields.
