The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Siemens Energy to lead the future of green and clean energy in the UAE.

The agreement includes knowledge exchange through technical workshops and brainstorming sessions, providing innovative solutions to challenges related to network expansion and reliability, increasing industrial development, exploring synergies with local universities and research institutes on energy transmission, and strengthening youth skills and expertise in clean energy.
The agreement also seeks to assess the current grid infrastructure for the integration of renewable energies and act in sustainable energy transition strategies and analyze the hydrogen value chain, including large-scale hydrogen production and storage and its impact on the UAE's energy landscape and industrial economy.
