 TAQA Water Solutions has announced that it has signed a groundbreaking 150 million dirham wastewater management project with Gulf Contractors Co. to redefine infrastructure standards in Al Bahia and Al Sadr.

According to Amac News: TAQA's announcement reinforces TAQA Water Solutions' commitment to support Abu Dhabi's urban development strategies and socio-economic growth.
 TAQA Water Solutions is set to provide cutting-edge solutions that prioritize environmental responsibility and improve the quality of life in the growing and growing communities  of Al Bahia, Al Sader, Al Shaleila and Taweelah.
The project, which was announced at the World Utilities Congress, will see the development of a 9.5 km deep gravity line and the decommissioning of a number of pumping stations, resulting in minimized energy consumption and reduced carbon emissions in line with global standards.
UAE Sustainability Objectives This asset enhancement plan will significantly increase the total hydraulic capacity to 120,000 cubic meters per day, effectively meeting the needs of the rapidly developing areas in Al Bahia and its surrounding areas such as Al Asar, Al Shaleila and Taweelah answers.
Developed in close collaboration with key stakeholders including Aldar, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, and the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport, the project demonstrates the power of collaboration in achieving long-term sustainability and efficient resource management in Abu Dhabi.
This approach to urban planning ensures that infrastructure development is aligned with the needs and aspirations of residents and communities and, based on the Global Liveability Index, ranks Abu Dhabi as the most liveable city in the Middle East and North Africa region.
