According to Amac News: In the announcement of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, it is stated that Saif Mohammad Al Suwaidi, Director General (GCAA), had a conversation with Kyle Clark, CEO of Beta Technologies.
Saif al-Suwaidi emphasized that the technology of electric aircraft has already seen improvements with regard to future visions and plans for the integration of air transportation in the urban mobility system.
He noted that the UAE is a pioneer in this field and is working with several leading global companies to improve regulations and support policies and develop advanced infrastructure for vertical takeoff and landing networks in preparation for the commercial launch of this aircraft.
Al Suwaidi added that the GCAA is keen to stay up-to-date on the latest global technologies in this field and commends the advanced technologies and precision engineering it has seen at the plant, which contributes to global efforts to develop a safe and sustainable advanced air mobility system.
