Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) said in a statement that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC).
According to Amac news: The signing of the agreement is an important step in strengthening bilateral economic partnership between the UAE and India, the statement said.
The main objectives of the agreement are to raise awareness of the economic potential between the two countries, highlight the tangible benefits of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and foster deeper economic, investment and trade ties between the private sector.
Through this agreement, the parties will exchange information and explore opportunities for joint events with the aim of promoting greater interaction between their members.
The MoU builds on the ongoing acceleration of the UAE and India’s CEPA, which aims to further develop trade and investment ties between the two countries.
RAKEZ and UICC are both committed to committing their efforts and resources to elevate UAE-India economic relations to exciting new heights.
India is a key market for RAKEZ, which currently houses over 6000 Indian investors.
