UAE-based Hafeet Rail has announced that it has awarded contracts to Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Power China to build key railway facilities in Oman.

Hafeet Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE-Oman rail network, has announced that it has signed an agreement with Caterpillar's Progress Rail.

Officials at Etihad Rail, Oman Rail and Mubadala Investment Company signed a shareholding agreement in order to start the construction of the UAE-Oman joint railway project.
