The first edition of the Sharjah Literature Festival was officially opened by Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Council and Honorary President of the Emirates Publishers Association.

The second edition of the Sharjah Classic Car Festival returns from February 13 to 17 with the theme "Where the Story Begins".
