The national under-17 football team of the country won the Central Asian Cup (CAFA) with a 1-0 victory over the Uzbekistan national team.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan says that a bilateral trade meeting will be held between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
