The United Arab Emirates Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that it has commissioned a water reservoir in the Lusaily area and its connection to the DEWA water network.

According to Amac News: DEWA said that this project has a storage capacity of 60 million imperial gallons (MIG)) and its cost is 157.4 million dirhams.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, ​​said our aim is to increase the flow of water across Dubai and increase the volume of water reserves.
He added that the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority plans to increase the water storage capacity in Dubai to 1121.3 million gallons of desalinated water by 2025.
A 60 million gallon reinforced concrete tank was built in Lusaily adjacent to the existing tank, which has a capacity of 120 MIG of desalinated water. DEWA recently commissioned a 120 MIG water tank at Enkhali and connected it to the Dubai water network.
