Officials in the Chamber of Commerce and Investment in Kandahar province say that during the past month, about 7 thousand tons of fig products worth more than 36 million dollars have been exported from this province.

According to Amac News: Abdul Baqi Bina, deputy of the Kandahar Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said that the province's figs are exported to India and Pakistan for sale.
According to him, only in the last month, 6960 tons of figs worth 36 million dollars were exported and the amount of exports is still increasing.
Officials in the Kandahar Chamber of Commerce and Investment have said that most of the dry fruits of this province are exported to India and Pakistan and from there to the markets of Asian and European countries.
