The Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has published a report that since its launch in 2021, the "Sharjah Digital" platform has processed more than 952,000 transactions with a value of more than 41.5 million dirhams.
According to Amac News: In the report of the Digital Department of Sharjah (SDD), it is stated that during this period it has attracted more than 95,000 users.
SDD continues to improve digital life in the emirate with its projects and initiatives, providing integrated and differentiated services to residents and visitors. In line with the guidelines of the UAE government to support digital transformation and increase competitiveness in local and international indicators, SDD offers an integrated digital platform.
The platform offers more than 60 digital services from 19 local, federal and private entities, making it easy for residents and visitors to access a wide range of services.
According to platform data, in July 2024, the number of completed transactions exceeded 952,000 with a quarterly growth rate of 31%. In addition, the number of registered users of the platform increased from 2,992 to almost 95,000 during the same period, and the website received more than 2.5 million visitors from February 2020 to July 2024.
The "Digital Sharjah" app also recorded a noticeable increase of over 615% in the number of downloads on Android and iOS devices, from 16,066 downloads in 2021 to almost 100,000 downloads in 2024.
SDD uses the latest technologies, diverse features and flexible options in the digital platform to enable all users to access services quickly, easily and with the highest level of security.
In its initial phase, the platform offers several targeted services aimed at specific sectors, such as transportation, real estate, commerce, security, utilities, social services, and utilities.
