Mohammad Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has announced that it has launched its full robotics program to tackle advanced challenges in humanoid robot learning, human-computer interaction, and sensory awareness.

According to Amac News: Mohammad Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence said that this program has several research and educational laboratories for testing the walking of humanoid robots.
According to the university's newsletter, the program also addresses sectors such as agriculture, logistics and health, and serves as a unique collaboration center for faculty, researchers, students and partners.
Founded in 2023, MBZUAI's Robotics Department welcomed 18 students in August and is expected to grow to more than 15 faculty members in the next two years.
Professor Yoshihiko Nakamura, professor and head of the robotics department, is leading the development, according to the announcement.
The work areas of this department include areas such as deep learning, robot-assisted surgery, quadrupedal locomotion, precision agriculture, and environmental monitoring.
