MBZ-SAT, built by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) in the United Arab Emirates, which the country calls the region's most advanced observation satellite, was successfully launched on Tuesday evening.
UAE
According to Amac News: This launch was carried out from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, USA, with the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
MBZ-SAT represents a quantum leap in the UAE's space exploration efforts. Developed entirely by Emirati engineers at MBRSC, the satellite helps disaster management and improve lives by producing high-resolution images around the clock, capturing details as small as one square meter.
Its capabilities are said to be ten times greater than the center's current productivity, share captured data three times faster, and enable immediate benefits for cross-departmental improvements.
The MBRSC team has successfully completed the final tests of this satellite at the SpaceX facility in the United States.
