The World Free Zones Organization (World FZO) has announced the end of its 10th annual World Congress by publishing a statement.

The statement said that this year's congress discussed the future role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in global trade, focusing on five key areas.
The participants of this congress pointed out that global conflicts, crises, trade disruptions and protectionist trade policies impose new challenges on trade flows and economic growth at the international level.
The Congress witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the World Free Zones Organization and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The agreement outlines the framework for bilateral cooperation in four key areas of policy development, capacity building, information exchange, and trade promotion and investment facilitation.
The agreement outlines cooperation between both parties to jointly develop policies aimed at improving the business environment in free zones across the African continent, while coordinating efforts to standardize regulations.
This agreement includes the exchange of knowledge, information, best practices, market trends, studies and reports.
The 10th World Congress also saw the introduction of the organization's new corporate identity, which includes an updated vision, mission and strategic pillars.
