Bayanat announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Vay
According to Amac News: Bayanat's statement states that this agreement was signed to promote remote driving technology solutions with location data and artificial intelligence.
This partnership will enable Bayanat to jointly expand remote driving technology with Vay in the Middle East, Africa and selected Asia Pacific countries.
The partnership will see the launch of a joint research and development arm dedicated to the development and deployment of the next generation of autonomous and secure technology.
The partnership will also leverage Bayanat's operational infrastructure, data and artificial intelligence capabilities and Vay's remote driving expertise to drive advancements in world-class autonomous vehicles and address the growing demand for advanced modes of mobility.
Bayanat's intelligent mobility solutions are powered by its AI-powered platform, GIQ, which integrates data from space and ground assets to aid decision-making, enhance situational awareness and improve operational efficiency.
Vay's technology allows professionally trained teledrivers to remotely drive vehicles to customer delivery locations. Once the car arrives, the user takes manual control and drives like any normal vehicle.
Bayanat's AI insights, informed by geographic data, improve the remote experience for Vay's trained teledrivers.
Vay is the first and only company in Europe that operates on public roads without safety drivers.
In January 2024, Vay launched its commercial remote driving service in Las Vegas, establishing itself as a pioneer in tele-driving cars.
Committed to creating safer, more sustainable and livable cities, Vay's remote driving technology will optimize the use of its electric fleet, potentially resulting in fewer cars on the road.
