Amac News: In the announcement of the International Sports Medicine Federation (FIMS), it is stated that more than 1000 participants from different fields of medicine from all over the world participated in this four-day conference.
According to the declaration, the participants of this conference called for the promotion of a global alliance for physical activity and sports and emphasized the urgent need to fight physical inactivity through a global coalition.
In this meeting, the need for specialization and standardization in sports medicine at the global level was also emphasized.
Recommendations proposed at the meeting included advances in sports science, particularly in soccer, with discussions of research shaping training and recovery methods in various sports.
Another proposed recommendation is to establish joint sports medicine centers for research and data sharing, strengthening global collaboration between physicians and researchers to enhance health care for athletes.
