According to Amac News: According to official government data, tourism brought Japan's travel surplus to the highest level and helped to increase the surplus of the last financial year.
According to the preliminary report of the Ministry of Finance of Japan, after the export growth of 2.1% to 101.87 trillion yen, the trade deficit decreased by about 80% and reached 3.57 trillion yen.
According to the statistics, initial revenue totaled ¥35.53 trillion, up 0.6 percent year-on-year.
The overall current account surplus, one of the broadest measures of international trade, has increased by nearly 2.8 times over the past year.
In March alone, Japan saw a 44 percent increase in its current account surplus to ¥3.40 trillion.
This figure was the highest for the previous month since similar data were provided in 1985.
