The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates published a statement saying that Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of Egypt.

According to the announcement, Bin Zayed and Abdel Ati also reviewed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, including economic, investment, commercial and development sectors.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed his willingness to work with the Egyptian minister to further strengthen the long-standing bilateral relations between the two nations, which are steadily growing in all areas.
The talks also addressed the general developments in the Middle East and its consequences, especially the humanitarian situation for civilians in the Gaza Strip.
