Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of Afghanistan, announced the four-way meeting on the Afghan-Trans project.
According to Amac News: Mujahid wrote in his X that this meeting between Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Qatar was held in Doha.
According to Mujahid, in this meeting, there was a discussion about the Trans-Afghan project, which connects Uzbekistan with Pakistan through Afghanistan.
Mujahid added that in this meeting, all the members demanded the early start and completion of this economic project.
The Afghan Trans railway project, which was proposed by Uzbekistan in December 2018, starts from the city of Mazar-e-Sharif and continues to Kharlachi port in Paktia province.
The cost of this project is estimated at seven billion dollars.
