Local officials in Panjshir province say they have sold 3,000 carats of emerald worth more than $100,000.

The Directorate of Mines and Petroleum in Panjshir Province has announced that it has sold three thousand and 977 carats of extracted emeralds.

Officials in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan have announced that they will hold an exhibition in order to attract investors to Panjshir Emerald.
