Officials in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan have announced that they will hold an exhibition in order to attract investors to Panjshir Emerald.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan stated that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to attract investors for precious stones, development of mining and display handicrafts and culture of Panjshir Province.
The caretaker government of Afghanistan started the extraction of Panjshir emerald mine last year, and according to the statistics of this ministry, so far 750 emerald mines have been registered in this province, and about 200 mining companies have been given mining licenses so far.
