Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) held two events, ‘Renewable Dialogue’ and ‘Women in Diplomacy’, to mark World Clean Energy Day, which is celebrated annually on January 26.
On the occasion of World Clean Energy Day, Nawal Al-Hassouni, the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), said that his country continues to promote global investment in clean energy projects through strategic partnerships and financial platforms and solutions.
Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, has emphasized the country’s commitment to a sustainable energy future and its role as a global leader in the development of renewable energy.
