FNC and Russia's Duma members discuss parliamentary cooperation

UAE state media reported that the members of the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council (FNC), led by Khaled Omar Al-Kharji, met with Andrey Makarov, Chairman of the Budget and Tax Committee of the Duma (Parliament) of the Russian Federation, and discussed about ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation.

According to Amac News: This meeting, which was held today, Monday, December 9, at the FNC headquarters in Dubai, examined bilateral relations in economic, financial and investment fields, as well as the parliamentary models of the two councils on proposed laws and issues related to financial and economic affairs.
In this meeting, Al-Kharji emphasized the depth of parliamentary cooperation between the Federal National Council and the Russian Federal Assembly, including the Duma and the Federation Council, and emphasized the importance of continuing the exchange of experiences and visits between the two sides.
Economic and political relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Russian Federation have been expanding rapidly in recent years. These collaborations include trade exchanges, joint ventures and efforts to strengthen parliamentary relations.
