Dubai Yesterday, Monday, January 21, hosted a closed meeting of the World Bank's Cloud Computing Working Group, which was held in preparation for the launch of the "Global Government Cloud Computing Summit 2025". This forum is organized by the Dubai Electronic Security Center in cooperation with the World Bank Group.
Dubai hosts World Bank’s Cloud Computing Working Group meeting
According to Amac News: This event, which is the first example of its kind at the global level, will be held on January 21, 2025 at the Future Museum of Dubai and is dedicated to the advancement of cloud processing in government sectors.
The closed session was attended by a group of members of the World Bank Cloud Computing Working Group, including representatives of digital governments, cloud computing solution providers, senior officials from participating countries, and leading experts from the public and private sectors.
The discussions focused on four main topics: artificial intelligence, green computing, quantum computing and cyber security, reflecting the focus on a smart and sustainable future.
The Global Government Cloud Forum will bring together more than 500 experts, more than 200 government officials, more than 50 international speakers and 30 innovative leaders in cloud computing technologies.
The forum serves as a strategic platform for the exchange of ideas and insights and embodies Dubai's ongoing commitment to promoting innovation and advancing technology development globally.
