Seyed Hassan Rahimizadeh, Director General of Iran’s Dogharoun Border Customs, has announced that from March to November of this year, the value of exports of goods from this customs to Afghanistan has reached more than $167,713,000.

According to Amac News: based on Iranian media reports published today, Sunday, December 22, this figure shows a significant growth of 50% compared to the same period last year.
Construction materials, cement, oil and liquefied gas are at the top of the list of Iranian export goods to Afghanistan. These items have accounted for a significant share of the trade between the two countries due to the increasing needs of the Afghan market, especially in the construction and energy sectors.
Rahimizadeh also stated that during the same period, more than 11,000 tons of goods worth approximately $14 million have entered Dogharun customs from Afghanistan. Oilseeds and building stones are among the most important imported goods from Afghanistan to Iran, which are widely used in the food and construction industries of Iran.
Dogharoon Customs, as one of the most important border points between Iran and Afghanistan, plays a key role in the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. The growth of trade exchanges at this customs indicates the increase in economic cooperation and efforts to strengthen trade relations between the two neighboring countries.
