Amac News, The event is being held in conjunction with the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and is organized by ADNEC Group, the UAE’s exhibition organizing company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council, and under the guidance of Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
This edition of the exhibition will showcase the navies of eight countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Oman, the United Kingdom, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Netherlands (Greece), the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and the Republic of India.
Commodore Rashid Ibrahim Rashid Al Muhaisni, Chairman of the NAVDEX Maritime Committee, said that this edition of NAVDEX will be the largest and most distinctive since its inception.
He said the event will see the introduction of several warships for the UAE Armed Forces and will feature 21 ships from friendly and allied countries, including new vessels showcasing the UAE’s advanced defense industry technologies.
The event’s organizers welcomed the first batch of naval vessels to the ADNEC Marina, showcasing a variety of vessels in terms of size and purpose. Mina Zayed has also received several other naval vessels participating in NAVDEX 2025, further enhancing the global presence of this important event.
NAVDEX serves as a dedicated platform for the maritime defence and security sector, providing participants with opportunities for strategic collaboration, knowledge exchange and showcasing the latest maritime technologies.
The event will provide an opportunity to showcase vessels in a dedicated aquatic exhibition area, where vessels can moor at a temporary marina equipped with floating docks.
