The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) of the UAE has issued a directive setting the official working hours for employees of federal institutions during the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH.
FAHR sets Ramadan working hours for federal authorities
According to Amac News, based on the directive, the official working hours for ministries and federal institutions will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Wednesday and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday.
FAHR stressed that ministries and federal institutions can implement flexible work schedules or teleworking during Ramadan within the limits of the set working hours.
The Authority also noted that federal government entities will allow up to 70 percent of their employees to work from home on Fridays during Ramadan, in accordance with the approved regulations.
FAHR also congratulated the leadership of the government, citizens, residents and the Arab and Islamic nations of the UAE on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
