Sharjah Airport Authority, under the umbrella of the Sharjah Tourism and Commerce Development Authority, announced its participation in ITB Berlin 2025, one of the world’s leading travel and tourism exhibitions.

Sharjah Airport announced the launch of the first direct flights by Air Arabia to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, on Thursday, January 30.

Emirates’ Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, inaugurated its direct flights from Sharjah to Vienna, the capital of Austria, on Friday, December 20, during a ceremony.

Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia have announced the first direct flight from Sharjah to the Maldives on October 27, 2024.
