Emirates’ Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, inaugurated its direct flights from Sharjah to Vienna, the capital of Austria, on Friday, December 20, during a ceremony.
Air Arabia starts flights to Vienna
According to Amac News: The ceremony, held simultaneously at Sharjah International Airport and Vienna International Airport, underscored Air Arabia’s commitment to strengthening ties between the UAE and Austria.
The inaugural flight, which hosted special guests including Etienne Berchtold, Austrian Ambassador to the UAE, and senior Air Arabia representatives, departed Sharjah for Vienna after an opening ceremony attended by Ali Salem Al Madfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Airport.
The Air Arabia Group CEO said that the launch of the new route to Vienna demonstrates Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding its network and offering more travel opportunities to passengers.
