The Central Bank of the Emirates (CBUAE) has announced that, based on banking indicators, the total investments of active banks in the United Arab Emirates reached 666.2 billion dirhams by the end of April 2024.
According to Amac News: The Central Bank of the Emirates (CBUAE) said that the investment of UAE banks grew by 0.3 percent.
The central bank further said that these figures show a 21% increase in investment at the end of April 2024 compared to the same month last year.
At the end of last April, these investments included debt securities of 270.5 billion dirhams, stocks of 16.6 billion dirhams, held-to-maturity securities of 328.5 billion dirhams, and other investments of 50.6 billion dirhams.
