The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates has announced that it participated in the first meeting of the heads of geological services and the round table "The Prospects of BRICS Cooperation in the Study, Development and Sustainable Use of Mineral Resources".

In this meeting, various issues related to the development of the geological sector and mineral resources in the member countries were discussed.
The discussions also focused on the creation of a geological platform for the BRICS countries, scientific and technical developments in the digitization of geology and other related issues.
In this meeting, the parties agreed to establish a mechanism for periodic dialogues between heads of geological services of BRICS countries, uniting joint efforts to strengthen interaction between geological services of countries.
