Ministers and officials of the UAE together with the leaders of local authorities emphasized the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Chile.

According to Emirati officials, the partnership with Chile reflects a new chapter in the UAE's relationship with this vital region on the global economic map, especially as Chile is the fourth largest economy in South America.
The officials stress that this agreement is a vital step in strengthening the UAE's position as a global hub for economy, trade and industry.
The agreement was signed in order to increase the share of different sectors of the United Arab Emirates in the gross domestic product, in accordance with the vision of "We Emirates 2031", the gross domestic product is 3 trillion dirhams by the next decade.
The agreement is expected to create a strong trade and investment partnership with Chile and open up new opportunities for companies and investors from both countries.
