According to Amac News: IFZA said it was placed because of its significant efforts in sustainability and climate change initiatives.
IFZA's recognition underscores its commitment to environmental conservation through various initiatives, particularly the Growth Plan.
IFZA has successfully planted more than 20,000 mangrove trees, which in future phases of the initiative aim to form an interconnected network of coastal and terrestrial forests in strategic locations around the world.
For every new IFZA business permit issued, a mangrove sapling is planted in the IFZA mangrove forest. IFZA professional partners and licensees receive a sapling and can easily find and track their tree's growth through a block chain-based digital platform.
The GROW Initiative serves as a platform for IFZA licensees in the UAE and worldwide to actively engage in environmental sustainability through more than 1,600 professional partners.
