Nasdaq Dubai has announced the listing of USD 500 million of Sustainable Trust Certificates issued by Warba Bank, a Kuwaiti Islamic bank.
According to Amac News: Nasdaq Dubai's announcement states that this is the fourth listing under their $2 billion trust certificate program.
Nasdaq Dubai continues to cement its position as the leading regional and global platform for fixed income and ESG-related listings, according to the announcement.
Total market capitalization is $134 billion in listed fixed income securities and $30 billion in ESG listings.
Meanwhile, ESG sukuk account for $18 billion, including Warba Bank's recent listing.
The issue was positively received by investors and orders reached 1.8 billion dollars, which is 3.6 times the volume of the issue.
With this additional listing, the total value of Bank Warba's sukuk, currently listed on Nasdaq Dubai, will reach $1.25 billion across three listings.
