The Afghanistan Electricity Company (Breshna) has announced the holding of a three-day meeting between the representatives of this company and the technical staff of Uzbekistan.
According to AmacNews: The company published a notice on X and wrote that the two sides discussed the 500 KV transmission line of Surkhan-Pul-Khumri and the extension of the 220 KV transmission line of Batkhak-Sheikh Masri in Nangarhar.
According to the announcement, the development of Arghandi substation and the construction of Sheikh Masri substation were among the other issues discussed between the parties.
The announcement added that the technical delegation of Uzbekistan visited Arghandi, Batkhak and Sheikh Masri substations for further investigation and visited these areas closely.
According to Breshna Company, based on the agreement signed between Afghanistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy of this country is supposed to cooperate with Breshna Company in the implementation of electricity projects.
