The Afghanistan Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry has said that in the last three years, more than 2,500 businesswomen have received business licenses in the country.
According to Amac News: Nazanin Ahmadzai, the spokesperson of the Afghanistan Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that more than 130 thousand other women are currently working without a license.
Ahmadzai added that these women are currently working in 9 sectors, such as agriculture, livestock, health, industry and services.
The lack of capital and market is one of the most important problems of women active in the business sector. These women have asked the Afghan government to support their work.
