The aim of this center is to support Abu Dhabi's efforts as a regional and global center for the import and re-export of live animals and to promote the economic status of the emirate.
The Veterinary Quarantine Facility at Port Khalifa in Abu Dhabi will serve as a resource to diversify import sources and support the supply chain, which are essential pillars in enhancing food security and ensuring its sustainability.
Bandar Khalifa Veterinary Quarantine Center has been designed and built based on the best practices and global standards in veterinary quarantine facilities and includes a veterinary laboratory unit equipped with advanced devices and equipment, which is managed by the most specialized personnel.
