The Ministry of Water and Energy of Afghanistan says that it has signed a memorandum of understanding for the maintenance and care of 11 irrigation canal projects in Nangarhar Province with Japan's "PMS" Institute.
According to Amac News: The Ministry has written in X that Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Water and Energy, has signed the agreement for the maintenance and care of 11 irrigation canal projects located in Nangarhar Province with the enthusiastic visit of the engineer in charge of Japan's PMS Institute.
According to the newsletter, according to this agreement, the mentioned institution implements the maintenance and care projects of the mentioned canals with a total value of seven hundred and ten thousand US dollars in a period of three years.
It should be remembered that the mentioned canals irrigate a total of 23 thousand 775 hectares of agricultural land, which will benefit 56 thousand 600 families.
