Khudadadi is the first athlete in the history of Afghan sports to win a medal in the Paralympics.
His Turkish opponent "Nurjehan Ikenci" was the runner-up of the world and European champion, who was defeated by Zakia with a score of 9-1.
Khudadadi, who is a member of the International Olympic Committee's refugee team, said that his medal belongs to the women of Afghanistan and all the refugees in the world, and said that he wishes for peace to be established in his country.
Zakia Khudadadi left Afghanistan in August 2021 and France granted him asylum. In the same year, he became the European Para Taekwondo champion.
