The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan said in a newsletter that it has sold 2,604 carats of emerald extracted from the mines of Panjshir Province.
More than two thousand carats of Panjshir emeralds were sold
According to Amac News: In the newsletter of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan, it is stated that this amount of emerald worth 335 thousand 500 dollars was sold.
According to the newsletter, this amount of emerald was sold through "volunteering" and with the presence of more than 100 traders.
The ministry said that so far 78 thousand 491.5 carats of Panjshir emerald worth five million 53 thousand 423 dollars have been sold.
