 The United Arab Emirates has announced its participation in the first International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Advanced Air Mobility Symposium (AAM 2024) and accompanying exhibition.

According to Amac News: The announcement states that the exhibition started today and will continue until September 12 in Montreal, Canada.
The UAE delegation, led by GCAA Director General Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, includes government and investment institutions, as well as aviation and technology companies, infrastructure developers and educational academies, according to the announcement.
The symposium will focus on AAM concepts, electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, infrastructure and airspace integration.
Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami, Chairman of Fujairah Civil Aviation Authority, said the presence of Fujairah Air Navigation Services (FANS) in this symposium emphasizes the strategic importance of Fujairah DCA in the UAE's aviation sector.
According to him, our close cooperation with GCAA and ICAO ensures that we are at the forefront of providing essential training and helping to develop international aviation standards.
Mohammad Abdullah Lengawi, Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Organization, stated that this gathering plays an important role in planning the future of aviation and the level of participation shows the prominence of the representatives present in this world arena.
ADIO will join the UAE delegation at the first ICAO Advanced Air Mobility Symposium (AAM 2024) to demonstrate its commitment to foster innovation and investment in the future of aviation.
