EWEC announced the provision of the 2024 edition of the World Water and Electricity Congress

According to Amac News: In a statement from Emirates Water and Electricity Company, EWEC's partnership with dmg events marks the third consecutive year that EWEC will present the World Utilities Congress hosted by TAQA on Renewable and Clean Energy.
The 6th Arab Water Forum, co-organized with the World Water Congress and organized by dmg events, will also be presented with CEC, according to the announcement.
EWEC presents CECs to the World Water and Electricity Congress and the Arab Water Association to decarbonize its energy consumption and reduce Scope 2 emissions.
CECs are digital exchangeable certificates that comply with the International Renewable Energy Certification Foundation (I-REC standard).
CECs are the only internationally recognized instrument in Abu Dhabi that validates ownership of the environmental and economic benefits of renewable and clean energy consumption and empowers entities to achieve their sustainability goals.
The scale of the CEC initiative is growing rapidly and represents a key mechanism in helping Abu Dhabi entities across a wide range of economic sectors to decarbonize their activities and reduce their carbon footprint.
Taking place in Abu Dhabi from September 16 to 18, the World Water and Power Congress will provide an international platform for global energy leaders, policy makers, innovators and industry professionals from across the power and water industries to discuss the changes quickly and discuss the challenges facing these companies.
EWEC plays a key role in the Abu Dhabi CECs initiative, acting as a registrar and auction operator to create an initial market for this new instrument.
EWEC has signed strategic clean energy partnerships with entities in the energy, real estate, healthcare, events and sports sectors.
