According to Amac News: In the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, it is stated that the delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar participated in this meeting.
According to the announcement, in the 161st meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, which was held on September 9, 2024, at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh and in the joint meetings of the ministers.
The meeting issued a final statement that included an overview of the latest developments in the Persian Gulf Joint Action as well as regional and global political issues.
The announcement emphasized on strengthening partnership with other countries, maintaining dialogue and strategic relations between the countries and nations of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council alongside regional and international organizations, and the results of joint ministerial meetings with the Russian Federation, the Republic of India and Brazil.
In this meeting, the aspects of cooperation, strengthening of coordination and exchange of views on regional and international developments in the framework of existing strategic dialogues were also discussed.
